Less is More Skin Care
by Koko Hayashi, Founder & CEO of Mirai Clinical
I was born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan’s northern-most island, known for the purity of its waters and the beauty of its women’s clear, supple, translucent skin. This is a culture that reveres nature and, over the centuries, has learned to harness its remarkable preventive and healing powers. It’s a culture where many elders live healthfully into their 90s, without heart disease or cancer, and where our children happily drink green tea and eat fresh vegetables. From a very young age, my mother taught me to honor and care for my body. Having since lived in the U.S. and abroad, it is now my life’s goal to fuse time-tested Japanese beauty practices with the latest in anti-aging science.
The Japanese “Less is More” philosophy means paring down to the most essential elements that bring pleasure to all senses. Our Mirai Clinical collection is designed to simplify women’s beauty regimens, while providing multi-tasking, truly lasting results. We also advocate that what you don’t put on your skin is equally important as what you put on. Some of our “Less is More” beauty practices include:
- Less cosmetic moisturizing = More natural skin moisture
- Less washing with soap= More natural hydration
- Less sugary foods = More skin clarity
- Less “quick fix” miracles = More lifelong skin beauty
By using Mirai Clinical’s nature-based formulas and following our “Less is More” best practices, you will see and feel the benefits over the long term. “Mirai” means “the future”. Welcome to a new generation of skin care!
