"Using persimmon based soap has been in my family much much longer than the huge interest today. My great grandmother made her own. So shopping the multiple sites carrying these is a bit overwhelming. Ive tried few. This maria is nice. No heavy scent. I purchased Lavender. I'm pleased. Yet I do not like shaming tge elderly in order to bring in customers. It's wrong and sad. Castile soap. Glycerin soap and so many more are just as effective in taming odors. On all ages. All . . . not just the elderly. Be respectful. Ms Rebecca L Rogers"

Mirai bar soap is great!

"Mirai bar soap is great! It lathers well and is gentle on my sensitive skin; however, it can be drying on sensitive parts at times if used with water that is too hot. It definitely keeps odor away,even after intense workouts. One thing I also noticed is it seems to keep bugs away because I haven't had to use bug spray when working in my garden. It's hard to tell if it's the soap or not, but I'm noticing a correlation. One thing that could make it better is if it lasted longer and were a little cheaper but otherwise, Mirai is like striking gold. I use it everyday. Weirdly enough, it also seems to be smoothing the texture of the skin on my face. I'm going to try the liquid soap when I reorder to see if it is as good."

This is a very nice

"This is a very nice smelling and cleansing/moisturizing bar. I keep it going by using a soap net bag and hanging it to keep the bar from melting. And the LATHER!!! I can’t believe the luxurious lather this soap has."

Love the citrus scent!

"I love the way it lathers and the citrus scent is fresh and makes you feel clean and wakes you up. The soap rinses off well and doesn't leave a residue. The bar lasts pretty long too. I don't like the persimmon with green tea scent at all. Its not refreshing and doesn't leave a nice smell on my skin and I don't have that clean and refreshed feeling."

It is brilliant. Not sure

"It is brilliant. Not sure how, but the underarms of my shirts don't smell of BO at the end of a long day. I tried a popular well advertised brand before Mirai without the same success. That previous brand did nit state the persimmon content like Mirai does either. I like Mirai's transparency. The deodorant and soap seem to be working well."

I’ve been using this soap

"I’ve been using this soap for a couple of months and I’m happy to say that I’m confident that I don’t smell stinky after the gym. I was becoming a little self conscious that maybe my sweat was becoming smelly now at 66. I had noticed that stressful situations absolutely brought about a smell I’ve never delt with before. I’m glad I found this soap. It’s true it leaves my skin clean without feeling dry. I use it from head to toe on sweaty days or every other day or so and on less active days. I’ve found that a bar will last me a month if I make sure to keep it dry between showers. I’m happy I gave it a try!"

Old"er" Firefighter here . . . !!!

"The product works great, and I'm usually quite skeptical of companies boasting about things I haven't tried. I've recently been in denial of coming of age, pushing the retirement date, and I've noticed that my body's BO has changed. It's like everything else happening with our coming of age. Anyhow, I digress, but I wanted to spread the word that this stuff works. I've noticed the old man smell I inherited is gone since using the soap. Been smelling good, not noticing my own BO anymore while working my long 24-hour shifts. 5 stars, stuff is great. Thanks"
